I have used the data repository to create CRUD operations on a single table but how do you use this tool to generate business enities when you have a stored procedure that joins many tables or has multipal result sets. Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance

The guidance package only generates a business entity from a single table and not stored procedures. Therefore, you cannot use it to create business entities based on columns from several tables.

A nice enhancement to the guidance package would be to create business entities based on Views, which would help with your situation, but Views are currently not supported. There is a workitem here where you can vote on the enhancement: http://www.codeplex.com/RepositoryFactory/WorkItem/View.aspx?WorkItemId=5673.

Dave
